Mplayer 3D - How to set up the app

The glasses-free 3D image is created by a special lens to make the right and left eyes see different images on the same screen.

This is to adjust the pixel and position of the lens attached to Snap3D and the smartphone. To solve this gap, combine your smartphone with Snap3D and see where they are located. You only have to do this once. If your smartphone or Snap3D has changed, you will need to redo the setup.

Making the two lines shown on the screen parallel. You can see both dark lines and blurred lines on the screen.Use the lower control bar to change the slope of the blurred line so that these two lines are parallel. If the slope of the blurred line matches the dark line, that is, if the two lines become parallel, you can proceed to the next step. Tip! If the blurred line is not clearly visible, close one eye and try again. It will look much better.

Moving the lower control bar to the left or right will cause the screen to darken and then brighten again. If you move the control bar from the left end to the right end, the darkest moment appears once. Look for dark spots on the whole screen rather than a part of the screen. If you find it at a position of about 45cm away from the screen, you can identify the dark screen more accurately. The whole face of a person must be clearly visible to the camera as Mplayer3D locates you by tracking your eye position. Our Mplayer3D uses eye-tracking technology to save your viewing position.

You can see the Mopic logo in 3D at the end of the setup. If you see two Mopic logos, make sure you see a red circle in the top left corner first. It may be because the player could not identify your face. If you see a red circle, move your face towards the center of the screen. If you do not see the red circles in the upper left corner but instead you see two Mopic logos, you have to redo the setup set from the beginning. It seems that there was a mistake during the process.

If you select icon on the top right side of the screen, choose "3D setting" now you can return to the first step of setup.

Mopic 3D - How to get the optimal viewing experience.

The glasses-free 3D view on you smartphone screen is created by special lenses in your Snap3D case to make the right and left eyes see different images on the same screen.

The Mopic 3D app is using the mobile’s front camera in real time. The eye tracking program uses the smartphone camera to determine the viewer’s position in the order of the outline of the face, the position of the eyes and the position of the pupil.

The eye-tracking program first looks for the outline of a person’s face. If your chin, ears and forehead go out of the screen, the outline of the whole face can not be found. Make sure your whole face, including your eyes, nose, mouth and ears are visible to the smartphone camera.

If it is too close, it is difficult for the camera to focus. When you keep a distance of 40cm or more from the screen, you can see the 3D image realistically. The recommended viewing distance is between 40cm ~ 60cm. If you move more than 1 meter away, the 3D effect will decrease.

When the viewer’s face can not be found by eye tracking, a red circle will flash on the upper left corner. If you move to the position where eye tracking is possible, the red circle will disappear.
